INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

On 15th of August, 2024, We the members of Leo Club of Guwahati South along with our parent club, Lions Club of Guwahati South celebrated the 78th Independence Day at South Point School, Barshapara. The event was marked by a sense of patriotism and unity as members of both clubs gathered with students and faculty to honor our nation's freedom. The celebrations included a flag hoisting ceremony, followed by cultural performances by the students, showcasing their talents and love for the country. Speeches highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters were delivered, inspiring everyone present. The day was also an opportunity to reflect on our responsibilities as citizens and the importance of community service in nation-building. The spirit of Independence Day was truly embodied through the collective enthusiasm and participation of all attendees, making it a memorable and impactful celebration.
