Monthly meeting with Dandia Celebration

*Lions Club Arpan’s 3rd General Meeting and Dandiya Celebration Held Successfully* September 18: The Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan organized its General Meeting at the Utsav Bequeath Hall. The event saw the enthusiastic presence of a large number of members along with the club’s office bearers. The meeting was initiated by President Mamta Sikaria. Secretary Vandana Bagaria and Treasurer Sumitra Gupta presented their respective reports. The flag song was led by Bela Choudhary, followed by the invocation read by Madhu Modi. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the club’s ongoing projects and upcoming service initiatives. After the formal session, Immediate Past President Sangeeta Rashibasia, Vice President Leela Lahoti, and Treasurer Madhulika Sayotiya organized a vibrant Dandiya celebration for all club members. The members participated with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. Payal Bhartia conducted a fun Housie game, and gifts were distributed by the Immediate Past President. Secretary Vandana Bagaria was honored with the “Lion of the Year – Arpan” award for her outstanding contribution. The evening concluded with a delicious dinner enjoyed by all. Such festive gatherings not only strengthen the bonds of friendship among members but also help in preserving cultural traditions and community spirit. Meanwhile, Arpan’s special initiative “Ek Aahar Dil Se” continues to be celebrated enthusiastically across various locations, spreading the message of compassion and service.
