Lions Club of Agartala has come forward to support a 1-year-old girl from Agartala Manasri Chowdhiry diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic condition. The child is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital and Research Centre, Pune. The estimated cost of treatment is ₹10,80,00,000.Understanding the urgency and financial burden on the family led by her father, Shri Dhruba Chowdhury, the Club presented a cheque of Rs. 10,000/- to the family representative as a gesture of support and solidarity. Lions Club of Agartala appeals to all kind-hearted citizens and organizations to contribute generously toward her treatment and give her a chance at a healthy life.
