Lions Club of Agartala has always believed in serving humanity with compassion. Under the banner of “Lions Annada”.We have taken a pledge to stand beside the hungry and needy through a yearlong food distribution project. The project reflects the spirit of service beyond self – ensuring that no one around us sleeps hungry. Through this initiative, Lions Clubs of Agartala are organizing in every sunday food distribution camps in various parts of the community, reaching out to underprivileged children, elderly, daily wage earners, and destitute families. On 16 th November 2025 program was very much special as because on that particular day our DG Sir Lion Pankaj Poddar ji was also present to witness our this special signature event and also he was distributed food by his own hand and taken blessings from the hungry people. 16 th November 2025 Annada program was sponsored by Ln Adv Subrata Sarkar and here it also be noted that we have served food among 288 people.
