Janmashtami, kids get together

It gives me immense pleasure to share the successful completion of our “Janmashtami Kids’ Get-Together”, organised by Lions Club of Guwahati Parvarish. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 40 children and 25 Lion members, making the celebration truly vibrant and memorable. A very special appreciation and heartfelt congratulations to our Project Coordinator, Mrs. Dipika Agarwal, whose creativity, dedication and meticulous planning made this unique initiative a wonderful success. 👏💐 From narrating the beautiful childhood stories of Lord Krishna and helping children understand the significance of Janmashtami and Krishna Abhishek, to engaging them through theme games, treasure hunt, stories and fun-learning activities, every aspect of the programme was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. The greatest achievement was seeing the children return home not merely entertained, but carrying with them a sense of devotion, curiosity and cultural values. Hearing children continue chanting “Haathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki” and expressing their desire to perform Krishna Abhishek at home is perhaps the most meaningful appreciation this programme could receive. ❤️🙏 On behalf of Lions Club of Guwahati Parvarish, I sincerely thank all our 25 Lion members, parents and 40 wonderful children for their enthusiastic participation and support.
