Lions Club of Agartala Green Conducts Hunger Relief Programme under ‘Annyodhara’ Agartala, 20 September 2026: As part of its ongoing hunger-relief initiative ‘Annyodhara’, the Lions Club of Agartala Green (LCAG), District 322G, conducted a Hunger Relief Programme today at Post Office Choumuhani, Agartala, at 1:00 PM. During the programme, 250 food packets along with drinking water bottles were distributed among needy and deserving beneficiaries. The initiative was undertaken with the objective of extending a helping hand to people in need and promoting the spirit of compassion, dignity and community service. Around 20 members of Lions Club of Agartala Green, including the members of the Board of Directors (BODs), actively participated in the programme and contributed to its smooth execution. The programme was sponsored by Lion Joydeeep Saha, an active and dedicated member of LCAG. The Club expressed its sincere appreciation to him for his generous support and commitment towards the humanitarian activities of the Club. ‘Annyodhara’ is one of the continuing humanitarian initiatives of Lions Club of Agartala Green, aimed at providing food assistance to people facing hunger and hardship. As part of the Club’s service plan for Lionistic Year 2026–27, LCAG has resolved to conduct Hunger Relief Programmes twice every month at different locations, reaching out to people who are in need.
