Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan "A Meal from the Heart" by Lions Arpan *Ek Aahar Dil se* *1st day of Pitra Paksha* On 7th September, under the Feed the Hunger project, Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan organized a food distribution in front of Sheetala Temple located at Sharabhatti. Realizing the vision of Arpan’s "A Meal from the Heart", a commitment was made to provide meals to as many people as possible during the period of Pitra Paksha. 1st day,On the occasion of the full moon(Purnima)of Pitra Paksha, khir (rice pudding), puri, and vegetable were distributed to 200 people. The program was conducted smoothly in the presence of participating Lions Mamta Sikaria, Radha Agrawal, along with Sumitra Gupta, Vandana Bagaria, Ritu Sarawgi, Ritu Sultania, and Sarita Bhimsaria.
