Pediatric Cancer Awareness Program

LIONS CLUB OF AGARTALA FEMINA successfully organized a pediatric cancer awareness program in collaboration with NSS Unit of Khumpui Academy Higher Secondary School at Khumlung. The objective of this project was to create awareness among students about childhood cancer, its early signs, early detection, timely treatment and the importance of hope and emotional support. Students of Khumpui Academy H/S School were sensitized about pediatric cancer and encouraged to spread awareness in their families and communities by eminent Dr. Gopa Chatterjee. The initiative carried the message "Small fighters, Big strength " and emphasized that childhood is precious and together we can light the way to a cancer free tomorrow.
