Umbrella Distribution to road side vendors

Lions Club of Guwahati GOLD Project Title: Big Umbrella Distribution to a Needy Vendor Date & Venue: March 8, 2025 | Near Ganeshguri, Guwahati Project Chairperson: Lion Deepak Bhajanka Objective of the Project: The project aimed to support a needy coconut and pan vendor by providing a large umbrella, ensuring protection from harsh weather conditions such as extreme heat and rain. The members of Lions Club of Guwahati GOLD identified a vendor near Ganeshguri who was struggling due to the lack of proper shelter. Understanding the importance of this necessity for his daily livelihood, the club arranged for a durable big umbrella. On March 8, 2025, the project chairperson and members visited the location and handed over the umbrella to the vendor, ensuring that it was properly set up for immediate use. Impact & Beneficiaries: Direct Beneficiary: The coconut and pan vendor who received the umbrella. Provided shade and protection, enhancing his working conditions.
