Under the One District One Activity Project – Pariyavaran Sanrakshan, Lions Club of Karimganj organized an Environment Protection Awareness Program on 30th August at Saraswati Vidyaniketan, Sribhumi. Renowned environmentalist Dr. Shyamal Prasad Choudhury was invited as the keynote speaker. In his impactful address, he highlighted how our everyday use of plastic is contributing immensely to environmental pollution and urged everyone to adopt sustainable alternatives. The program witnessed the participation of around 200 students and faculty members, who actively engaged in the session. Towards the end, 200 food packets were distributed among the participants, generously sponsored by Project Chairperson Ln Anita Singh. A total of 15 Lions members graced the occasion with their presence, making the event meaningful and successful.
