CARING FOR THE ELDERLY MAN

On 5th of August, 2024, We the members of Leo Club of Guwahati South along with our parent club, Lions Club of Guwahati South visited to the Helping Hand Old Age Home at Lalmati where we also distributed millets to the residents on the occasion of Independence Day. Our visit was aimed at not only celebrating Independence Day but also at bringing joy and comfort to the elderly residents. The distribution of millet-based foods was a thoughtful gesture to ensure that they receive nutritious meals, supporting their health and well-being. The event was filled with meaningful interactions, as we spent time with the residents, listening to their stories and sharing in their experiences. The smiles and gratitude from the elderly were deeply touching, reminding us of the importance of caring for those who have contributed so much to society. This initiative highlighted our commitment to supporting the elderly and making a positive impact on their lives, especially on such a significant day.
