Lions love Animals

This is a heart touching story of 400 cows rescued by BSF while being smuggled from India to Bangladesh. These cows are now sheltered at a Goshala at Devipur, Kamalasagar, 25 kms away from Agartala. Lions club of Agartala city organised a One District One Activity service of "Lions love for animals" on 20.07.2025 by providing food and necessary medicine to these cows in the presence of Dy.Director Animal Husbandry ,we have also fed them bananas. Most of the cows are malnourished and few have fractured their legs while being saved in the dark hours. We are hopeful that they will recover soon. It was a unique experiance for all the members of our club and we felt the pain they are going through. Members of Lions Club of Agartala City is happy to be of help to these innocent animals.
