On 22 nd March 2026, Lions Club of Agartala was blessed to be a part of a deeply emotional and truly meaningful act of kindness. A grieving wife, who recently lost her beloved husband Late Sebabroto Sen, chose to honour his memory in the most beautiful way possible — by organising “Annada” (Hunger Relief) on the occasion of what would have been his birthday. Her late husband, a proud member of the BSF, dedicated his life in service to the nation. Today, his memory lived on through an act of love, compassion, and humanity — by feeding those in need. In the midst of personal sorrow, she turned her pain into a blessing for others. This noble gesture touched every heart present and reminded us all that true love never ends… it continues through kindness, service, and selfless giving. Lions Club of Agartala feels honoured and humbled to have been associated with this heartfelt initiative. We offer our deepest respect to the departed soul and heartfelt prayers for eternal peace. We also salute the strength and compassion of the family for choosing such a noble way to remember a loved one. A life lived in service to the nation… remembered through service to humanity. May his soul rest in peace. It is specially here to be mentioned that as on 22 nd March 2026 in this LY, this is the 3 rd time when a non- lion member sponsored the “ANNADA” project & also a member of Rotary Club of Aspiring Agartala was also present to witness this lovely Project.
