Vision-Mega Eye Camp

The Lions Club of Agartala Anish, District 322G, in collaboration with Ashvini Netralaya, organized a Mega Free Eye Check-up Camp for the residents of Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Niwas, Chinnaihani, Airport Road, Tripura. The initiative aimed to provide accessible eye care to underprivileged sections of society. Qualified doctors and volunteers from Ashvini Netralaya conducted eye examinations, including vision testing using eye charts and prescriptions for corrective measures. The camp also ensured proper documentation of patient details for follow-up treatment. The Lions Club members actively participated in coordinating the event, assisting with patient management, and spreading awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups. The activity highlighted the club’s commitment to preventive healthcare and community service. This noble initiative not only addressed immediate eye care needs but also created awareness about eye health and hygiene, benefitting almost 55 residents of the Balika Niwas along with the working staff.
