"A Cleaner Place Today means a Safer Future Tomorrow " On 29th October 2025, after the celebration of Chhath Puja, we, the members of the Lions Club of Guwahati South, in collaboration with the Leo Club of Guwahati South, organized a Cleanliness Drive at Lachit Ghat. The drive was undertaken to restore cleanliness and maintain hygiene in the area after the festive celebrations, which attract a large number of devotees. Members actively participated in collecting and disposing of waste materials, cleaning the riverbank, and spreading awareness about the importance of keeping public places clean and pollution-free.
