Tree Plantation

On July 14, 2024, the Lions Club of Agartala ANISH successfully carried out a plantation drive, reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation. Our dedicated team gathered at Airport Road, from TripuraInfo office to Bishops House in Durjoynagar, Agartala, to plant 30 Avenue trees. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance urban green spaces and promote sustainability. With the enthusiastic participation of 11 volunteers, we planted a variety of native trees, carefully selected to thrive in the local climate. These trees will play a crucial role in improving air quality, providing shade, and supporting local wildlife, bringing us closer to a greener and healthier environment. Our previous plantation drive on June 5, 2014, from Jackson Gate to Orient Chowmuhani, Agartala, was equally successful. Moving forward, we plan to monitor the growth of the planted trees and organize follow-up events to ensure their healthy development. We encourage community members to join us in future initiatives and contribute to a sustainable and green future.
