Free Eye Screening camp

Lions Club of Guwahati City successfully organized a Free Eye Screening Camp in collaboration with Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya at Mahendra Nagar, Guwabari in Tamulpur district a highly underprivileged area lacking basic medical facilities. Over 200 beneficiaries received eye checkups, out of which 35 cataract patients were identified. These patients will be brought to Guwahati for free cataract surgeries, along with complete arrangements for their travel, stay, and food, fully sponsored by the club. The camp received local support from Asha Darshan NGO and All Assam Youth Student Federation. This noble initiative was led by Past President Lion Binod Lohia and Secretary Lion Subham Agarwal. Truly a remarkable step in service, lighting hope where it's needed the most. Long Live Lionism! 🦁🙏
