SUMMER CAMP

Lions Club of Agartala Femina organised a SUMMER CAMP for underprivileged children of Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Nivas where we distributed food items, drawing items and sports items We involved them some activities like singing, drawing, Recitation etc. This initiative was taken under the One District One Activity program for the month of July. We have selected 10 studens who are above 8 yrs to vist SCIENCE CITY. Children were first taken on a visit to SCIENCE CITY Agartala, where they enjoyed themselves. We served them lunch there Following this we took them for a trip of the UJJAYANTA PALACE (RajBari) and MUSEUM. The children were very delighted to see and this is their first visit to Rajbari and also Meseum. The days end we dropped them back at the ashram. All of us were very happy to have experienced these touching moments. Lion Dipali Dhar was the chairperson for the Programme.
