✨ Lions Club of Karimganj – A Day That Made History ✨ Lions Haat Bazaar | 23rd November 2025 | Karimganj College, Sribhumi On 23rd November 2025, Lions Club of Karimganj created history by organizing the first-ever District Project — Lions Haat Bazaar, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. It was not just an event… it was a celebration of dignity, joy and humanity. 🌼 The Heart Behind the Initiative The purpose of this mega project was simple yet deeply meaningful — to allow our underprivileged brothers and sisters to experience the joy of choosing. Choosing what they like… What they need… What their hearts desire. Not charity… but respect. Not alms… but the dignity of shopping with their own hands. Every beneficiary received ₹1000 (in artificial money), food coupons and an invitation card — welcoming them not as receivers, but as honoured guests. Around 1500 people walked into the Haat Bazaar with hope and excitement — and walked out with bags full of necessities and hearts full of happiness. 🛍️ A Bazaar Filled With Love Our dedicated Lions & Leos turned this dream into reality by filling the Haat with 100% brand-new items — clothes, utensils, shoes, blankets, sweaters, stationery, and essential household goods — all chosen with love, thinking of every family who would benefit. 👏 Inspirations & Leadership The presence of our District Governor Ln Pankaj Kumar Podder and dignitaries from Guwahati, Dharmanagar, Agartala, Silchar and Badarpur added immense pride and motivation to the occasion. A project of this magnitude needs a visionary — and we were blessed with District Project Chairman Ln Jagadish Chandra Banik, whose commitment and guidance were the backbone of this noble mission. Under the warm, inspiring leadership of President Ln Jaishree Gang, every Lion and Leo member worked relentlessly — days, nights and every valuable moment — to turn this mission into a grand success. As our President was out of station, the program was graciously presided over by our dynamic Vice President Ln Ashok Deb. 🤝 With Gratitude Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Lions of Badarpur Greater and to the merchants of Sribhumi and Badarpur for their support and trust in this noble cause. 🌟 A Day We Will Never Forget Lions Haat Bazaar 2025 will forever remain a shining chapter in the history of Lions Club of Karimganj — a day when love, dignity and humanity touched 1500 lives… and touched our hearts even more.
