LIONS WITH LANDPORT SRIBHUMI

*Lions Club of Karimganj* sponsored two meaningful projects organised by the Land Port Authority of India – at the Land Port premises, Sutarkandi, Sribhumi, on the auspicious occasion of the 6th Foundation Day of Land Port Sutarkandi, in the presence of dignitaries, officials, and members of Lions Club of Karimganj. *1* . *Inter-School Quiz Competition* *2* . *Labour Lunch** *Inter-School Quiz Competition* The quiz competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 4 school teams, aiming to promote knowledge, awareness, and healthy competition among students. With the formal inauguration by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Lion President Jaishree Gang, along with LPI Manager Gautam Naug and the BSF Commander in presence of Treasurer Lion Rupali Deb, IPP Lion Sanchayita Deb, Programme Coordinator Lion Binod Kumar Gang, Service Chairman Lion Gautam Deb Roy and other LPI officials and dignitaries, started the highly engaging contest and concluded with prizes and certificates distribution among the winners and participants by the Lion President Jaishree Gang. *Labour Lunch* As part of the foundation day celebration, Lions Club of Karimganj extended its service through the sponsorship of a Labour Lunch. 50 Labourers and staff of the Land Port were provided with a hearty meal, strengthening goodwill and community bonding. This initiative highlighted the club’s commitment to service and compassion, ensuring that the workers at the Land Port were honoured and cared for on this special day. The projects reflected the Lions’ motto of “We Serve”, blending educational encouragement with humanitarian service.
