"Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for a better world" Lions Club of Guwahati South successfully organized an art competition and an environmental protection awareness seminar in collaboration with South Point School and Ministry of Earth Science on account of World Earth Day with the theme "Our Power, Our Planet. The event was aimed to encourage and to make aware students to learn more about climate resilience and renewable energy. Renowned social worker and educationist Ms Ratna Bhardwaj was the key speaker of the event. The purpse of the event to serve as a reminder to take action for the health of the planet and to support environmentalprotection.
