Diabetes Detection & Awareness Camp

As part of One District One Activity, Lions Club of Karimganj conducted a Diabetes Detection and Awareness Camp at its adopted village Kamargram on 14th November 2025. The objective of the camp was to create awareness about diabetes, highlighting the importance of dietary management and lifestyle modifications for controlling blood sugar levels. Informative leaflets were distributed among the villagers. A total of 32 beneficiaries attended the camp for diabetes screening, out of which 9 individuals were diagnosed with diabetes and advised for further medical guidance. The project was successfully executed under the leadership of Club President Ln. Jaishree Gang, with the active participation of 15 Lion members. The project was chaired by Ln. Biswanath Deb. The club acknowledges and appreciates the financial contribution and support for this project from Ln. Santosh Jain and President Ln. Jaishree Gang.
