Self Defence Seminar for the Girls

Lions Club of Agartala successfully organised a one-day self-defense seminar at Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Niwas, Chinayani, Agartala, with the objective of boosting the confidence and personal safety awareness of adolescent girls. The programme was specially designed for girls in a crucial age group, where building self-confidence, courage, and self-protection skills is essential. In today’s society, women empowerment in every sphere has become a pressing and important issue, and such initiatives play a significant role in shaping a safer and stronger future for young girls. During the seminar, the participants actively took part in practical self-defense demonstrations and interactive sessions, which helped them understand the importance of physical preparedness, mental strength, and self-belief. Lions Club of Agartala expressed sincere gratitude to Tripura Police, Department of Sports, and United All Style Karate Tripura Association for their unwavering support and cooperation in making the programme a grand success.
