*LIONS CLUB OF GUWAHATI CITY* _40th INSTALLATION CEREMONY – *“AROHAN”*_ _Lionistic Year 2026–27_ *Lions Club of Guwahati City proudly organised its 40th Installation Ceremony – “Arohan”,* on 8th August 2026 at Hotel Viswaratna _marking a memorable transition of leadership and the beginning of another year dedicated to Service, Fellowship & Lionism_ The occasion was graced by *District Governor Lion Manoj Bhajanka* as Chief Guest and *Lion Dwarka Jalan, PMCC, Multiple 323* as Installation Officer, along with _First Lady Lion Preeti Bhajanka, 1st VDG Lion Rajesh Agarwalla, 2nd VDG Lion Sujit Bakharedia_, a galaxy of Past District Governors, distinguished Lions leaders, members from other Lions Clubs and fellow Lions and warmly welcomed by the *Project Chairperson Lion Natasha Jain* *Prior to the ceremony,* *Lion Dwarka Jalan visited* our permanent project, *“Sahyog” School for Underprivileged Children*, _interacted with the students, distributed water bottles to all the children and *appreciated the club’s sustained efforts towards their education and welfare*._ _The achievements of 2025–26 were presented by *outgoing Secretary Lion Subham Agarwal*, followed by an address from outgoing *President Lion Sunil Kathotia*. *Members recognised for their dedicated contributions* were Lion R.K. Poddar, Lion Subham Agarwal, Lion Amit Kr Agarwal, Lion Shyam Singhania, Lion Manoj Lundia, Lion Narayan Choudhury, Lion Latika Goel, Lion Manita Chaudhary, Lion Jyoti Agarwal, Lion Nisha Agarwal, Lion Siddarth Dey, Lion Rakesh Choudhary, Lion Bikash Agarwala, Lion Sachin Bairasia, Lion Binod Lohia, Lion Pawan Agarwalla, Lion Sushil Agarwal, Lion Sunil Ajitsaria & Lion Sanoj Agarwal_ *In a heartfelt gesture, club members presented tokens of love to outgoing President Lion Sunil Kathotia in appreciation of his leadership and dedicated service.* _Installation Officer *Lion Dwarka Jalan* formally installed the new Board for 2026–27,_ led by *President Lion Shyam Singhania,* *Secretary Lion Amit Kr Agarwal* & *Treasurer Lion Narayan Choudhary*. _Following the installation, *President Lion Shyam Singhania delivered his Acceptance Speech*, expressing gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him and sharing his vision for the year ahead._ _Adding further strength to the Lions family, *18 new members* were inducted by *District Governor Lion Manoj Bhajanka.*_ _The memorable *“Arohan”* concluded with a *Vote of Thanks* by Secretary Lion Amit Agarwal, marking a new beginning with renewed energy, fellowship and commitment to service._ *Together We Can, Together We Will!* _Regards,_ *Lion Amit Kr Agarwal*- _Secretary_ *Lions Club Of Guwahati City* _Lions International, District 322G_
