The Lions Club Guwahati Gold held its installation ceremony for the new executive committee for the year 2024-25 on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 6 PM at RatnaMauli Palace in Beltola ¹. Here are the highlights of the event: - Chief Guest and Guest of Honor: The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Chief Guest PDG Lion Sudhir Ji Chaudhary and Guest of Honor VDG-II Lion Manoj Ji Bhajanka, along with dignitaries from District 322G and other clubs. - Oath-taking Ceremony: The ceremony saw the oath-taking of: - Lion Sandeep Bhajanka as President - Lion Rahul Tulsyan as Secretary - Lion Ranjit Saraf as Treasurer Administered by PDG Lion Sudhir Ji Chaudhary - 10 new members took their oath, administered by Guest of Honor Lion Manoj Ji Bhajanka. - Handover of Reins: Outgoing President Lion Anil Garg handed over the reins to Lion Sandeep Bhajanka, who pledged to fulfill his duties with dedication. - Awards Presentation: Awards were presented to: - Lion of the Year: Lion Deepak Bhajanka for his dedicated service - President Lion Anil Garg awarded diligent members for lionistic year 23-24 - Event Hosts: The event was skillfully hosted by Lion Anupam Agarwal and Lion Pooja Agarwal.
