Eye Scanning & Health Checkup Camp

The Lions Club of Guwahati Global, in association with Gauhati Lions Eye Hospital, organised an Eye Screening Camp at Adarsha Vidyalaya, Changsari, Kamrup, Assam, on 10 October 2026. The camp served school students and local residents by promoting eye health awareness and providing access to basic screening services. A total of 153 students and adults underwent eye examinations with the support of the eye care team. The screening identified individuals requiring further medical attention, and 20 patients were referred to the base hospital for detailed evaluation and necessary treatment. The initiative promoted the early detection of vision-related problems, preventive eye care, and awareness of the importance of regular eye check-ups. It reflected the Lions Club of Guwahati Global’s continued commitment to community health and humanitarian service. The club sincerely thanks Gauhati Lions Eye Hospital, the school authorities, and everyone who contributed to the camp’s success.
