Lions Club of Guwahati City Serves 80 Children Under "Feed the Hunger" Initiative Guwahati, 27 July 2026: Continuing its commitment to humanitarian service, the Lions Club of Guwahati City successfully organized a "Feed the Hunger" service project at Shree Jalaram Mandir, Fatasil Ambari, Guwahati, on Monday, 27th July 2026. As part of the initiative, 80 underprivileged children were served fresh, nutritious meals, reinforcing the Lions' mission of ensuring that no one goes hungry. The project aimed to spread hope, compassion, and care while promoting the spirit of selfless service. The project was generously sponsored by Lion Jyoti Choudhary, whose support made this noble initiative possible. The project witnessed the dedicated participation of Lion Amit Kr Agarwal, Lion Narayan Choudhary, Lion Bikash Gupta, Lion Jyoti Choudhary, Lion Sangita Agarwal, Lion Reshma Beriwal, Lion Sunita Gupta, and Lion Jyoti Agarwal, whose collective efforts made the programme a meaningful success. Speaking on the occasion, Lion Amit Kr Agarwal, Secretary, said that the Feed the Hunger initiative reflects the true spirit of Lionism by bringing hope, dignity, and nourishment to those who need it most. Lion Narayan Choudhary, Treasurer, appreciated the wholehearted support of all participating Lions and emphasized that such humanitarian initiatives inspire greater community participation and strengthen the spirit of service.
