Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan Marks the Beginning of the New Lionistic Year 2026–27 Guwahati, 13 July 2026: The Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan celebrated the Installation Ceremony for the Lionistic Year 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony was graced by District Governor Lion Manoj Bhajanka as the Chief Guest, accompanied by First Lady Lion Preeti Bhajanka. During the ceremony, the new Board of Directors was installed. Lion Leela Lahoti took oath as President, Lion Renu Gaggar as Secretary, and Lion Anju Maheshwari as Treasurer. District Governor Lion Neena Dutta (District 322D) administered the oath of office to the newly elected office bearers and inspired them to lead the club with dedication, integrity, and a spirit of service. Outgoing President Lion Mamta Sikaria formally handed over the charge to the incoming President, Lion Leela Lahoti. On this occasion, FVDG Lion Rajesh Agarwala inducted 11 new members into the Lions family by administering the membership oath. The event was attended by Immediate Past District Governor Lion Seema Goenka, Past District Governor Lion L. N. Agarwal, along with several district and cabinet officers and distinguished Lions members. The presence of members from various Lions Clubs of Guwahati added grandeur to the occasion.
