Report of Club Meeting A club meeting, as communicated earlier in the group, was held on 17 August 2026 at 8:00 PM at the residence of Lion Shubhajit Sinha Da. During the meeting, Lion Shubhajit Sinha Da and Club President Lion Arup Paul Chowdhury felicitated Lion Shyamali Bora Baruah and Lion Neelom Goswami, Lion Shyamali Bora Baruah, who holds the leadership roles of Zone Chairperson for Zone 6 as well as Club IPP (Immediate Past President) for Lions Club of Guwahati South. and Lion Neelom Goswami who holds the leadership role of Zone LCIF Coordinator for Zone 6 representing Lions Club of Guwahati Soin recognition of their outstanding achievements and for bringing laurels to the Lions Club of Guwahati South by winning several awards. The following important matters were discussed and decisions were taken: 1. Club Registration: The registration process of the club is to be completed by Treasurer Lion Mohit Dhir, in coordination with Lion Shubhajit Sinha Da. 2. Fee Collection: Treasurer Lion Mohit Dhir will make reminder calls to members regarding clearance of pending club fees. 3. Pending Fees: Members who fail to clear their outstanding club fees by September 2026 will be considered for removal from the club. 4. Membership Growth: Efforts will be made to enrol new members and strengthen the club's membership. 5. Charter Night: Plans were discussed to organise the Charter Night in December 2026 on a grand scale. The need for proper club attire, including coats and other necessary items, was also discussed.
