National Plantation Drive

The Lions Club of Agartala ANISH launched the “Roots of Change” campaign with a vision to spark plantation activities across the nation. What started as a humble tree-planting effort in Agartala soon evolved into a nationwide movement, inspiring volunteers and well-wishers from various states to plant saplings in their own communities. The initiative reinforces the belief that lasting change begins at the grassroots, and each sapling planted today helps secure a greener and healthier future for India. Through this campaign, our club has united people under a shared mission of protecting nature and promoting environmental responsibility. We are proud to have engaged 34+ families who have collectively planted 204 saplings across different regions of India, with each sapling chosen carefully according to local climate and soil conditions.
