Adoption of a School

"Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan Adopts Harijan Shishu Vidyalaya Under the One District One Activity initiative of Lions Club District, Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan has adopted Harijan Shishu Vidyalaya, located at GMC Colony, Bhangagarh, Guwahati. The school currently has around 60 students. The project Chairpersons Sangeeta Rashiwasia and Anju Maheshwari distributed juice, biscuits, and fruits to the students. Club President Mamta Sikaria informed that the club will make every possible effort in the coming days to fulfill the school’s needs, including providing blackboards, chairs, cupboards, and construction of a classroom, along with other essential requirements. The program was successfully conducted with the support of Secretary Vandana Bagaria, Treasurer Sumitra Gupta, Madhu Patwari, Sabita Patwari, Anju Maheshwari, Kusum Goyal, and other club members.
