Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan Celebrates Diwali Milan Ceremony On 12 October, Lions Club of Guwahati Arpan organized a Diwali Milan ceremony at Hotel Nandan on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of light and prosperity, with the aim of strengthening love and fellowship. Members attended the event along with their spouses. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Club President Mamta Sikaria, Secretary Vandana Bagaria, and Treasurer Sumitra Gupta. Payal Bhartiya presented a graceful Ganesh Vandana. The event was efficiently managed by Payal Bhartiya and Neelam Chaudhary, ensuring smooth conduct throughout. The ceremony was concluded with elegance and dignity. The atmosphere became musical and emotional with the singing of songs in fond memory of the beloved singer Zubeen Da, bringing joy and nostalgia to everyone present. District Governor Lion Pankaj Poddar and Vice-District Governor Lion Manoj Bhajanka graced the occasion as special guests. Public Relations Officer Renu Gaggar informed that Diwali gifts were presented to all members, extending warm wishes for the luminous festival of Diwali.
