*The* *District* *Cell* *for* *Women* *Empowerment* in collaboration with *JSS* , Silchar conducted a day long *Survey* *on* *Women* 's *Health* *and* *Hygiene* at Madhuraghat slum area today (27. 07. '21). Female members of *36* *households* have been interviewed and the study found that their strong unwillingness to attend to personal hygiene is driving them to embrace a low quality of life. The situation, therefore ,demands the need for holding an immediate Awareness Program on this issue.
