Our Hon’ble Minister, Sri Chandra Mohan Patwary unveiled the statue of Mother Teresa, which had been donated by Sri Ashokji Pansari, at Shantidan, Lankeswar, on 31.07.2021. Father V. M. Thomas, from Don Bosco, Bengaluru, had also come down for the function and he had invited any three members from our Club to also participate in it. lion Sushil jain, Kishore Saboo, Lion Ajay Poddar and Lion Anand Aiyar took part in the programme, representing Lions Club of Gauhati. our Club had donated 20 solar lights to Shantidan, Missionaries of Charity, Lankeswar, on1st july 2021.
