ADOPTION OF A NEW VILLAGE

*Adoption of a Village and* *initiatives taken to* *upgrade the living* *Status of the villagers* was successfully done by *Lions Club of* *Kailashahar.* *Activity Highlights:-* 1. *Adopted Manuvelly* *8 No.* *Dighal Line Village.* 2. *No. of Families* is *more than 50* . 3. *Initially we have* reached *27 Families* on *19/08/2027.* 4. Discussed with *Local people and* *Senior Citizens and* *have learnt* their recent status regarding *employability,* *Enrollment* in *Educational* *Institutions* , their *burning issues* and *requirements* etc. 5. Have learned that most of the households are *either Daily Workers* or *Weakly* *Workers.* 6. *Drafted* year wise *Policies and* *activities to be done* to uplift the *status of all villagers* especially their kids, most of them avoid admitting into a School. 7. *On the First Day we* have organised a *Mega Health* *Camp with X-ray* *Facility* and distributed *Medicines* too. 8. *Arranged Lunch* for all 27 Family Members. 9. Will reach the other families too. 10. Will Execute one by one the other plans too.
